Road Assistance

In case you run into trouble on the road anywhere in the Philippines, the Concierge can arrange for the repair of your vehicle including payment of repairs and up to 10 litres of fuel, but excluding the cost of parts and accessories. Should your vehicle need to be towed, the Concierge can arrange and pay for the towing of your vehicle for up to $150 each time if it is not covered by your insurance. If the repair shop is within 50kms from your home, the Concierge will arrange for your transportation home along with 4 companions. When the vehicle is fully repaired, the Concierge will arrange for it to be brought to you. If the vehicle cannot be repaired within 48 hours (excluding Sundays and holidays, the Concierge will even provide you with an alternative vehicle for maximum of 3 days, free of charge.

 

Home Assistance

The Concierge can also assist you at home by referring experts such as electricians, plumbers, locksmiths and air conditioning service providers and arranging for them to serve you.

* The Concierge service is free. However, some 3rd party costs incurred will be charged to your card.

Travel Accident Insurance

  • Accidental Loss of life – $750,000 for travel accident; $25,000 during the duration of the trip
  • Dismemberment – Up to $750,000 for travel accident; $25,000 during the duration of the trip
  • Accident Medical Expense – Up to $2,000,000.

Travel Inconvenience Insurance

  • Loss/Damage of Luggage – Maximum of $2,000 but not exceeding Php10,000 per item if the luggage is not delivered within 48 hours.
  • Delayed Luggage – Up to $100 for every 6 hours delay, maximum of $400
  • Delayed Flight – Up to $100 for every 4 hours delay
  • Missed Connection – Up to $650 if no alternative transport is provided within 12 hours of arrival

Global Assist can refer you to the nearest hospital and arrange for you to get in touch with an English speaking doctor or lawyer.

Transmission of Urgent Messages

In case of emergency, Global Assist can transmit urgent messages to your family or your company on your behalf.

Essential Medicines, Spectacles and Contact Lenses

If the medicines you need are not readily available where you are, Global Assist will purchase and deliver them to you.** Should you lose your eyeglasses or contact lenses, Global Assist can send a replacement pair to you.

Medical and Convalescence Expenses

Global Assist can guarantee your hospitalization expenses should the hospital require it. Global Assist can also advance to you, whatever additional cash you may need to pay for your expenses while recovering.

Emergency Medical Repatriation and Evacuation***

Should the medical facilities in your place of destination be inadequate, Global Assist will make all the necessary arrangements for your transfer to another location or to a hospital in your home country.

Travelling Companion or Compassionate Visit*
